DSV takes a stand at the Spring Fair International

Visitors and exhibitors at this year's Spring Fair International will be able to consult experts in global customs and security issues at the DSV stand (J58 in Hall 5).

DSV, a global expert in multimodal logistics, is exhibiting for the first time at the fair which will be held at the NEC from 6-10 February, 2011.

The company's customs and security experts from the UK and China will be able to advise importers and shippers about the latest legislation, including the new EU security regulations which came into effect on 1 January.

The annual fair, this year held 6-10 February, is the UK's largest home & gift trade show, with 3,000 exhibitors spread over 15 halls. Products range from toys and homeware to decorations, jewellery and fireworks.

"Obviously many of these products are made overseas so people are looking for both expert help and cost-effective transport solutions, which DSV can provide," says Chris Malyon, Director, Sales and Marketing, DSV Road. "We have visited the fair in the past but by taking a stand we are able to raise our profile and also offer advice to both other exhibitors and to visitors."

The fair organisers expect at least 30,000 people to visit the exhibition over the five days.

DSV, headquartered in Denmark, is a global supplier of transport and logistics services, with more than 21,000 employees in 60 countries all over the world. It has Road, Air & Sea and Solutions divisions and in 2009 recorded a worldwide annual revenue of 4.8 billion euro.
